Falling stars

Dear Bridie,
Tonight was one of my magic moments with you.
The night before we had organised to read your fairy book that nana had given to you. We just didn't get time to read it last night and it is a book that takes a long time to read as you also have find little things in there on each page. A bit like a where's wally book. So tonight we read it.
We got onto Bally's bed with dad and Balun and we began reading.
You decided that we all had to be together when reading this book. I asked why and you just smiled and touched daddy and I on the hand and looked at us. I could see how happy you were to have us there and how much you love all of us together.
The magic had begun with you talking about what you saw, asking us to use our imaginations and pretend being in there with the fairies and what you would do if you were one.
When your filled with happiness your shinning, your little words just can't get come out. You are thinking and wondering and all these beautiful little words come jumping out with some stumbling, but they make their way into your sentence.
You take my breath away.
We then came to a page with falling stars. You said, "I would love to see that mum". You then went on to say that, " I wish I had falling stars and the stars were all over my roof so that my room would never be dark again when I am sleeping". "They would fill my room mum, can you imagine that, you will have to use your imaginations, mum".
You said this with such passion and your little arms waving above your head as you looked up to the roof.
So my dear Bridie, tomorrow we are all going out to find you some lovely little fairy lights to fill your room. I promise to fill your room with a little magic just as you fill my heart with a little magic every day.
One more thing my little angel, never stop using your imagination, make your dreams come true and always keep the ones you treasure close to you.
Love your mummy xxx
