This is our happily ever after

I was asked to capture some moments for this beautiful family; Caitlin, Ian, Maddy and Grace.
And what a beautiful family it was.
We spent an afternoon on a property in Blanchview which belonged to Caitlin's brother.
The wide open spaces and animals that roamed free made it a delightful afternoon. We patted pigs, had a horse run away with a hat, had a 10ft carpet snake looming in the old barn which we climbed into and had lovely conversations with the owners of the property and their children.
I drove away feeling so grateful that I was asked to take these photos and be part of their family for a couple of hours.
The girls were just delicious, polite and peaceful. They were beautiful to watch behind the lens and away from it. They danced, ran and giggled in their big wide world, shared secrets and cuddles.
It was nice to see Ian place his hand on Caitlin's hips as they waited or talked and lovely to see him fixing the girls dresses as they climbed over the old fences and played.
It was comforting to see the girls sit so close and happily in their parents arms as they chatted on the hill and for a moment they just sat with no one talking or moving just being in that moment safe in their parents arms.
I loved that Maddy still jumps up on her Dad's hip and laughs with him.
I listened to Caitlin's stories of her family, children and of the farm which we were on. Caitlin was with the 3 biggest loves in her life and she watched over them all with a smile.

A happy and loved family.
