Our paths met
I find myself not getting to this space as often as I want.
I do find myself constantly stopping in a moment and thinking of writing that moment down in this space. Little children and chores get in front of me and time passes by. Today however I am leaving those chores, children at school and my joyful little Narah is fast asleep and here I am in my space.
My reason for starting this space was for my dear family, Craig, Bridie, Balun and Narah for them to have these words and pictures forever, a journal of our life, our moments, our beliefs, loves......
Today as I dropped the kids at School I had the pleasure of talking with Baluns teacher who is a free spirit, full of happiness and always searching for the good, the creative spaces in our world and planning for a rich future ahead of her.
Anne is her name and she turns 63 this year. I listened to her talk this morning about her plans of where she wants to be in two or three years, her love for the arts, kayaking, swimming, being outdoors and her love for people and children.
I cherish moments like this with people and how two people just connect at the right time and have a moment together.
Our conversation lead to how she teaches her children, how she teaches them to be leaders, talk positively and her secret weapon; clever talking. We spoke how words can hurt and people use them as a weapon to hurt others or empower themselves. How we need the courage and belief in our self to let those words roll off your back and use clever talking to move away from those words and trust that we are amazing and present.
It was a lovely chat and all of this lead us to laughing and smiling and brought us back to the happy things we have in our world and this reminded me of the words I always say to my children........
"follow your heart".
Our paths collided with eachother this morning Anne and we were both able to release our thoughts but I thank you for holding my thoughts gently, respecting them, nurturing them and then slowly releasing them.
