I smiled today

 

 

Receiving this beautiful card in the mail today from a beautiful friend, your words have made me feel loved, important and thought of.

 

Receiving an email from an old friend telling me "he has found his most favourite person in the world", he has fallen in love.

 

Picking up my little man from Kindy and knowing that he tried his hardest to brave all by himself. He told me " I couldn't stop crying mum but Karen (the kindy teacher) helped settle me down, I did it, I made a good choice."

 

Bridie -when I picked her up from school she was telling me that her imaginary friends that sit on her shoulder when she is lonely, "tickled me today because I didn't share my lunch with them, they were being cheeky."

 

Baking .

 

Finding a chocolate at the shops that said I Love You on the back of it. I bought 3.

 

Seeing a group of mum's who are close friends collecting their children from school all dressed in their gym gear ready to head off to the park together to work out while their children played. I think they will be smiling at the end of it- a park, children, sunshine, friends...

 

Listening to the kids playing as I write this, happy in each other's company.
