moments
I went for an early walk this morning and it was beautiful.
I listened to a wonderful audio book by Louise Hay and she just makes sense to me.
One thing I got from her was to be committed to you. As women we get there eventually, here and there we think of ourself, we give ourselves to our children, to others but we must remember to commit to me, love me and have time for me..
Then I listened to some of my sweetest music and I thought of the gestures and moments I have had with my children the past two days. I was walking up the hill crying.
Onlookers would have thought I was this crazy, sad person but I was in my own little bubble, crying, thinking and releasing some tears with beautiful music filling my soul, it felt great.
It was a happy, emotional moment.
Bridie and Balun you have given me two of my favourite moments which I will retell to you forever.
Thank you my little angels, you don't know how powerful you are, how loving and truthful you are.
I love watching you blossom and going on this journey with you, life...
And then I thought of a little boy who yesterday stood in front of the entire school with all of the mum's watching on. It was a little ceremony the school had organised for mum's and caring women.
Some of us do not have children but in no way does that dismiss the caring and nurturing souls of these women as well.
This little boy is 8 or 9, so getting to that age and speaking in front of a room is a big thing especially telling the whole school that he loves his mum.
I admired his spirit to get up there and talk.
It was beautiful and the most honest little speech I have heard in a very long time.
This little man told his mum that he loves when she makes chips for him, finds his library bag.....
Little things that we do as mothers every day but this beautiful boy noticed his mum, acknowledges her and was thankful. Who else is going to find that missing library bag and make those chips he will remember as an adult and probably make them for his family.
At the end he looked exactly where his mum was sitting and blew her a kiss in front of all of his mates, the school, the principal, everyone.
His mum would hold that moment forever and be so happy.
You have a beautiful, honest, sensitive little boy. You could see the smile in his eyes, he loves you dearly.
Your a lucky mum.
To an amazing start to the weekend. I am jumping back into bed with my 3 loves to plan our weekend.
