A memory
Last night Craig made his chicken rice paper rolls. It takes a lot of prep work and then when he is ready to roll them the kids are all hands on deck.
They sit on the bench, play with the noodles, dip the rice paper in the water and try and do as much as they can as quick as they can.
Craig looks at me taking a big breath with that look of, oh my god!
Although the kids are not big fans of eating them they do love creating the rolls.
I am on the couch feeding Narah and I laugh because craig is an excellent cook and makes sure everything is perfect.
With these two little helpers you have to expect a lot of MESS and a lot of love!
I said to Craig, " you know the kids will remember making these with you when they are older".
Craig replies, "they can make them for me and I will sit on the bench".
For a moment I stop and hold onto this moment and store it in my memory and
then I imagine what it would be like visiting our children for dinner with Craig sitting on the bench.
