It's Friday

It's Friday.... I like Fridays, the weekend is approaching and today feels happy.
I have been feeling a little emotional this week and my days and my little family's days always filled with activity of everyday life.
Life has felt busy this week, constantly moving....
I have been trying to take the dog for a walk in the afternoons as he is getting a little rounder in this cold weather.
Our walks allow Balun to fly through the streets on his skateboard and Bridie to be free, running, skipping and just doing what she does. Sometimes we all hold hands and talk, sometimes collect treasures and sometimes find a spot to climb a tree or play.
We returned home yesterday to meet Craig home from work and the kids ran inside out of the cold but I just had to stay put in the middle of the driveway unloading my last few days. Of course I begin crying for no real reason, just because I can, because it feels good and because I am a sensitive soul.
Craig smiles and hugs me and we continue to talk under the cold dark sky.
We live together, sleep next to eachother but every so often I just have to let out all my little happenings to Craig, I just talk and talk until I have said everything. Craig listens and then brings up stuff about his days that he had forgotten about.
We eventually came inside to make up our dinner, we all had something different, Bridies included honey of course, I had left overs and Craig and Balun make a dish with a bit of everything.
We then ventured to the bathroom together and I sat next to bath while the three of them slid into the bath and soaked in the warm water. I added a big heap of coconut oil to replenish their dry wintery skin.
While they soaked in the water we all ate chocolate and continued to tell stories of our day.
We then read some books and I kissed all 3 goodnight in our bed, no one could be bothered to go to their own beds, it was too cosy.
I sat up for a little and then crept into the warm bed.
This morning I wake and feel my little baby inside wake with me and wiggle around, I look forward to my day, our weekend away together and the school holidays approaching us.
Happy Friday xxx

A cheeky good morning smile
