Our night

Last night Balun's little cough came creeping back. It wouldn't of helped that we spent the afternoon in the cold rain.
We rugged up in jumpers before we left for our afternoon adventure quietly knowing the rain was coming but we needed to walk and discover.
We climbed trees, played in the park and collected treasures.
It was lovely.
Bridie would hold out her tongue collecting the rain and wanted to lick any surface that was full of rain water.
I found a spot to sit and watch them climb the tallest Bunya Pine.
By the time we returned home from our walk in the dark we were completely wet and that cough decided to stay with us all night.
Balun and I comforted it all night with sips of water, remedies and warm baths.
I was creeping out to the kitchen to get little cups of water for him to sip on and my hands used to stroke Balun's back.
It is now morning and all our comforts have made that little cough leave Balun.
